Rob writes the syndicated marketing advice column Ask Mr. Marketing that appears in the (San Diego) Coast News every Friday. Since 2006 this column has provided free business advice geared towards helping small and mid-sized organizations with informative, easy-to-digest, practical, and entertaining nuts & bolts marketing advice.
Write Away Books was the driving force behind the creation of the Teen Writing Contest, an annual event co-sponsored by The Coast News Group. This program has engaged dozens of students, allowing them to showcase their creativity by writing about how they would spend $10 million to improve their communities.
Recognizing the importance of a strong business community, Rob sits on the board of the Chairmen’s RoundTable, a non-profit composed of several dozen multi-national CEOs. CRT utilizes this wealth of experience to guide small businesses and non-profits to a higher level of performance, free of charge.
We believe strongly in the mission of Rotary International, which focuses on service above self. Our CEO is one of the few people in the world who actively belongs to two Rotary clubs and has helped the efforts of Rotary District 5340 since 2004 to improve the quality of life in San Diego and beyond.
