With over 40 years in the marketing communications trenches, clients know Rob Weinberg as a Renaissance Marketer who bridges the traditional/digital messaging divide.
As president and chief strategist for the MarketBuilding Team – a San Diego-based strategic marketing consulting firm – he has been recognized for removing the mystery from marketing for a wide range of clientele. He specializes in strategic, creative, branding, and account management, with a flawless ability to translate any complex message into simple language, regardless of industry. Clients turn to him for unique marketing solutions and profitable results.
Starting from a career that began with a decade as principal of a New York City advertising agency, Rob seamlessly blends marketing, promotion, and public relations skills with an innate talent for finding unusual marketing partners and an unerring ability for developing dynamic communications strategies.
Rob is author of Removing the Mystery from Marketing, Streetwise Internet Business Plan, 5 Minutes to Better Branding, and the Ask Mr. Marketing newspaper column. He also actively gives back to the community, and in his free time is writing two novels.
